The Cabrillo baseball team, seeded No. 23, upset No. 2 Fresno City College, two games to one over the weekend in the Northern California Regional Tournament in Fresno.
The Seahawks advances to play Santa Rosa Junior College on Thursday, May 9 at Chabot College in Hayward.
In the first game on Friday, the Seahwaks scored 10 runs in the last three innings for a 14-11 win.
Cabrillo, playing as the home team in Game 2 Saturday, fell behind 10-7 in the 11th inning and lost, 10-9.
In Game 3, also played Saturday, Fresno scored five times in the ninth, but it wasn’t enough as the Seahawks won, 11-9.
