The Cabrillo College women’s volleyball team continued its era of domination over the Coast Conference defeating the Hartnell College Panthers 23-25, 24-26, 25-14, 25-23, 15-10 Wednesday night in Salinas to claim their 12th consecutive conference championship.
Down two-nil early, the Seahawks (24-2, 11-0) remained poised and fought back to force a fifth and final game.
The Panthers (23-5, 7-3) gave Cabrillo its first real test in conference play in over a month, and it could not have come at a better time with the playoffs on the horizon.
The Seahawks will travel to Monterey Peninsula College on Tuesday for their final regular season game of the season at 6:30 p.m.
