Seahawks soar over Blue Devils in home finale

Cabrillo 30, Merced 20 – The Seahawks (6-3, 3-2) steamrolled the Merced College Blue Devils (3-6,2-3) on Nov. 3 at Carl Connelly Stadium to ensure their first winning season since 2006. 

Under head coach Darren Arbet the program has seen a steady march back to relevance, with this season bringing at least as many wins as the previous four combined. 

Cole Davis, a sophomore running back, accumulated 166 yards from scrimmage on just seven touches, including a 64-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

Eliel Ehimar, a sophomore defensive lineman, registered two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
